Is this year flying by or is it just me that feels that way? It was January, then I blinked and here we are, half way through 2013. Oh well, yet another month has come and gone so it's time again to share my loved, liked and loathed items for the past four weeks. Want to know which of these products lived up to my expectations? Love my Jordana Best Lash Extreme mascara. This is the schnitzel of all mascaras in the universe. One coat is more than enough to elongate and add volume to the lashes. It holds the curl all day and doesn't flake. Jordana, if you're reading this, please don't ever discontinue this little tube of wonder! Honestly, an image is worth a thousand words in this case. FYI, on the photo above I'm wearing only one coat ^^
Like my Huile Prodigieuse dry oil. This product was recommended by my blogger friend PBunnieP and when it finally came out at my local pharmacy I couldn't pass on the opportunity to try it out. I mostly use it for my hair, though it can also be applied on the face and body. I can't really talk much about how benefitial it can be for the skin because I rarely use it for that, I will probably incorporate it in my daily routine eventually though, but the few times I did use it there it was quite nice and didn't seem to clog my pores or make my skin oilier. As for the benefits for the hair, it detangles, adds a lot of shine and so far has successfully prevented split ends and frizziness. It also smells amazing! My hair is quite long and layered so five-six drops are all I need to evenly spread it, starting from the ends and working my way up. This is more of a luxury item for me because the price tag is a bit steep but since I really use so little, this bottle will probably last me a long time. Two thumbs up!
Loathe my Revlon quad in Inspired. I don't seem to have much luck with quartets, no? In my past LLL monthly post I talked about another foursome thingy LOL Anyway, when I chose this combo I was drawn to those gorgeous mint green and teal colours, so imagine my disappointment when they turned out to be sheer, powdery and too glittery; not to mention the fall out is out of this planet : / I initially thought it was quite good, but upon repetitive use I came to the conclusion that this quad is a dud. The highlighting shade is rather awful as well, within a few hours it completely disappears from my face. The blue is actually quite pretty but isn't reason enough to pay for the entire palette just to get it.
