New month, new monthly raving/ranting, are you ready? This is going it be a good one y'all! haha No, seriously, I don't think I've ever been this excited to write a post before as I am typing this. It is so thrilling when you find new things to feel passionate about, isn't it? Here we go! ^^

Love my K-Doramas. OMG! Where do I even begin to rave about them!?!? It's been years since I was as excited about a TV show as I've been these past two months. I blame Worshipblues, (in a good way of course!) she tweeted about watching Sunao ni narenakute (素直になれなくて), which is in fact a J-Dorama, and the rest is history. One thing lead to another and now I am literally obsessed with watching this genre. I find myself "fangirling" (sounds better than drooling, right?) over Japanese and Korean actors, do they have them altered genetically? They're so dreamy and perfect! I recommend watching Dr Jin (닥터 진), My Princess (마이 프린세스), Personal Taste (개인의 취향), Iris (아이리스), City Hunter (시티헌터, Suzy if you're reading this, thank you so much for the recommendation, I was late for work every morning for a week because I couldn't stop watching it at night ^^), Faith (신의), When a Man Loves (남자가 사랑할 때)... just watch them all! And yes, Song Seung Heon is my mobile wallpaper... it couldn't be helped... oh the "hallyu" madness has began! *Edit: I'm currently obsessed with Boys Over Flowers (꽃 보다 남자), if you can get past the ridiculous hairdo of Lee Min Ho, you're going to love it! It has it all: drama, comedy, romance, even several action/fighting scenes.
Like my Bdellium Tools brushes. I could have easily said that I 'love' them, but because I haven't tried any of their face brushes (though I want to so badly now!!!), for the time being I will say 'like'. This travel eye set in particular is very complete. It has any and all brushes necessary for creating from the simplest makeups to the most elaborate looks, provided you don't mind the shorter handles. I did purchase a full-size smokey brush that I felt was missing from the set, and another fine liner brush so I can change up colours more frequently and I must say, long or short handle, they do their job beautifully. Overal I'm quite happy with my choices, I've been using them on a daily basis for my work makeup and also for my anime looks, especially the angled, flat top and fine liners, they're amazing for precission work and detailing (#760 and #714 are my favourites of them all). These are not inexpensive neither over the top expensive and are worth every penny, I've washed them several times already and they haven't lost a single hair and/or their shape. They have also been previously treated with anitbacterial non-toxic products to prevent mold and fungus from growing on the bristles, though that will fade over time is nice to have some extra protection at least for a while. You know how much of a fan I am of the Real Techniques brushes, I almost feel like I'm cheating on them haha but the truth is that even though they're really good, I got to a point where I needed something more 'powerful'. These are just as great, I'd dare say even a tad better. Got mine at iHerb.com in case you were wondering : )
Loathe my Maybelline quad in Chai Latte. Well, not quite. Truth is this is my favourite of all their quads. Ever since I saw Christine (a.k.a. Xteeener) using it I became obsessed with it and once I got my hands on it, I was extatic. It's really bad, but lately I've been having problems with the highlighting shade. I think the powder "dried out" (someone more knowledgeable insert the proper word here ^^). I've been having the hardest time picking up product from the pan even when pressing and swirling the brush arround rather abruptly. All the other eyeshadows are fine (I use the bronze gold quite often) so I don't know what to tell you. I've already tried scratching the surface to remove a layer, but the product below still misbehaves. Has something like this ever happened to any of you? Please let me know in the comments what product it was and if you were able to fix it. Thanks in advance! : )
